Chacko presents Tagore’s “On The Day That The Lotus Bloomed”

The poem is an old favourite that I had discovered while on a yoga course at Shivananda Ashram by the Neyyar Dam in Kerala, India.

It was my offering for a zoom healing circle for a friend in LA who’s about to start cancer treatment. The next day we had a lotus blooming in the garden and so I thought I’d record it and send it to her and her partner as they face the disease together. And posted it on my social media pages and it's been rather well received.

A nice antidote for the strange world we are in, with the pandemic and political upheavals.
