I had a delightful and inspiring afternoon yesterday helping the YWCA’s Vocational training Opportunity College. VTOC with their graduation. As emcee. Amazing to see how these underprivileged girls are transformed in one year. Coming from remote villages. Many are orang asli. And are now so poised and 80% have already got jobs in salons, fashion & tailoring, restaurants, kindergartens etc. Such a diverse vibrant group of girls and faculty. Indian Malay Chinese and many indigenous. Wonderful to see the orang asli elders come to celebrate the girls wearing their traditional Headgear. Malaysia Boleh indeed.
