Starring in "8 The Play"

One Night Only! - Friday, Sept 21

I have been cast as one of the expert witness in this play based on the transcripts of the Federal Trial for Marriage Equality which was barred from being broadcast by the proponents of Proposition 8 against Marriage Equality. I join the stage with such amazing actors like Alan Mandell, David Birney, Ben Vereen and Joan Van Ark.

Oscar winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black ("Milk", "J. Edgar") accordingly attended the trial, got the transcripts and wrote this play so that the world would have a true account of what happened at this trial. He allows it to be only done as staged readings and to raise funds for the Foundation for Marriage Equality and its Federal Lawsuit for Marriage Equality. A reading has already been done in LA featuring such luminaries as George Clooney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Martin Sheen, Brad Pitt and many more superstars.

I am also understudying the roles of the main attorneys and it looks like I may have to step in for one of them, with another understudy taking over my role...! :-)

The actual Co Lead Attorneys for the Plaintiffs, David Boies & Theodore Olson, incidentally became famous as they represented Bush against Gore respectively in their famous trial! Charles Cooper is the Attorney for the Defendants.
