I'm pleased to announce that this brilliantly researched and beautifully made documentary, which I have had the honour of narrating - will be on The History Channel (SE Asia - so Singapore will get it for instance) Astro Channel 575HD, 555 on Sunday Sept 4th at 10pm - 12 midnight by Ahmad Yazid and Rack Focus Films. It's on Malaysia's journey to independence and part of a mini series. Amazing footage, much of it never seen before with great interviews and stories.

An interesting unusual focus is on Dato Onn Jaafar, the founder of UMNO and who should have been the first PM of Malaysia but for his insistence that UMNO should allow non Malays into the party and for which he got kicked out. A man before his time.
